Head Facilitator at H.E.L.P

Malaika (ERYT-500) was born and raised in Warwick Rhode Island, USA and has been living in Vermont USA for the past 15 years or so. Malaika has been leading and guiding others on their yogic path since 2009 and her career has brought her all over the world to work with and along side many amazing teachers and students.

Malaika has a Social Work degree from the University of Vermont, and has worked with children and families professionally and as a volunteer. She holds certifications in the Tantric tradition Hatha Yoga, Yoga Nidra, TRX-Suspension Training, Aerial Yoga, H2OM (SUP Yoga) and is an ACE certified personal trainer. Malaika is a Lululemon Ambassador and teaches at Wanderlust Festivals!

She is grateful for the incredible opportunities along her path by being who she is and loving and believing what she shares with others in the tantric tradition of Hatha yoga on and off the mat!

Her joy for life, deep passion, authenticity and dedication to the journey and path – is what inspires so many. Her vision is born from the depths of “the work” and her innate ability to lead and inspire. She enjoys working with communities, inspiring others into their best selves. She is a community partner, and consultant with other yoga communities globally, helping to fine tune their vision.

Through her classes, workshops and trainings she loves to share in the gifts of yoga to others to thrive in the world and cultivating joy and gratitude within themselves.

Casey, Josh and Elise were students of Malaika’s when they embarked on their journey to Bali to complete their 500hr Yoga Teacher Training. We are incredibly humbled and busting with excitement to have Mikaila join the H.E.L.P Sydney Australia team for our opening months to guide and support us towards fine tuning our vision, teach some fearsome classes and create some powerful workshops.
